Basic Information About JAIIB
JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) are conducted by IIBF (Indian Institute of Banking & Finance).It Consists of 3 papers :
1. Principles &
Practices of Banking
2. Accounting & Finance for Bankers
3. Legal & Regulatory Aspects of Banking.
2. Accounting & Finance for Bankers
3. Legal & Regulatory Aspects of Banking.
Exam Fees
JAIIB – Rs. 2,748
JAIIB Exam Pattern :
No of Questions - 120 Objective
Time duration - 2 Hours
Approx - 70 Half Mark, 35 one mark and 15 two mark questions asked.
JAIIB are not mandatory certifications but they are useful to Bank employees in Career Growth, Promotion and Salary Increment.
Only existing employees of bank can apply for JAIIB Exam. People other than Banks employee can also give exam i.e. Diploma in Banking and Finance conducted by IIBF. On joining bank JAIIB examination certificate issued if they passed.
Syllabus & exam pattern of both JAIIB and DBF exams are same.
JAIIB Exams are conducted in on-line mode.
Minimum marks for passing JAIIB is 50 out of 100 marks in each subject or at least 45 marks
in each subject with a total of 150 marks in all subjects put together in any
single attempt.
There are no negative marks for wrong answers.
Way to attempt question in Examination :
Firstly solve 15 question having two marks then go for 35 one marker question in first 1 hour and in next 30 minutes give to half marker question and last 30 minutes for recheck of answered question.
